Station 1 apparatus
Engine 3 is our newest engine. It is a 2004 Central States pumper. The chassis is a Spartan with a stainless steel body on it. It has a 3,000-watt command light on the roof of the cab. The ladder rack on the top of the body drops down to the passenger side for easy access to the ladders and pike poles that are on it. It has a 1,500-gallon per minute two stage pump with 1,000-gallons of water on it. It also has foam capability on it. It has a 6 man cab with 5 air pack seats. This truck is set up to handle car fires and motor vehicle accidents as well as major structure fires. It is our first truck out on all reports of fire.
This is our Tanker 1. It has 2,000-gallons of water on it and a 500-gallon a minute pump. We also have a portable pond on it for use during tanker shuttles. It also has a portable pump and various hoses and adaptors on it.
This is our Engine 1. It has a 1,000-gallon a minute pump with 1,000-gallons of water on board. It has a deck gun on the top of it, 750-feet of 4-inch hose, 800-feet of 3-inch hose, 500-feet of inch and a half hose, a 12-foot roof ladder, a 24-foot extension ladder and a 12-foot pike pole. This truck is now our back-up pumper.
This is our Rescue 5. It is a 2006 Ford F-350 4x4 with seating for 5. It has E.M.S. supplies on it, the jaws of life, a portable generator, fire police supplies, 1 air pack and brooms and shovels. This truck rolls to every call we get.
This is our Rescue sled. It has many uses other than just transporting patients from atv and snowmobile accidents. We also can use this if there is a brush fire to transport equipment in and out of where needed on the scene.
Our Honda RancherES four wheeler is what pulls the rescue sled in the spring, summer and fall. In the winter time we also have a ski-doo snowmobile to pull the rescue sled.
